I’ve never really celebrated christmas. Christmas last year was probably the first one to mean something to me. I’ll always remember setting off the lanterns on christmas eve, going to the highest data collection point (freezing cold) and oggling at santa’s little helpers.
Although I whined about my physical geography thesis a lot, I’m glad and thankful for the process, as not only did I learn, I got a proper* christmas.
*for people (i.e. Kchai) who might want to ask what ‘proper’ constitutes, it’s another week’s discussion.
